Olsany 1, the wrong place. Helmut is very well prepared for the trip with an
historic road map of the CSSR and the information, that Olsany in somewhere
northeast of Brno. We found an Olsany on the map and went there straight. What
we found was a pretty, sleepy village with no farm, no kites, no people in the
streets. The only restaurant looked as if it was closed, but I have expereienced
this does not mean anything- there were cars outside, so there are guests. Many
guests, the place was full (that's why the streets were empty) The man behind
the bar informed us that we are in the wrong place and we had to go down south-
so we did. A friendly lady in a petrol station helped us and pointed out
that the Olsany where we want to go is about 35 km south so we had to go back to
the battlefield of Austerlitz, went up into the hills and finally arrived at
Farma Bolka Polivky.
