The weather in Andalo was more or less perfect for the whole week. Blue sky from sunrise to early afternoon- then on some days there were a few clouds and a few drops of rain. The blue banner ist a photo of the sky taken on sunday, 18th at 11h in the morning on top of Paganella mountain.

The mayor promised Andalo to be a place with wind every day. This is absolutely true !
There is no or light wind from the north until 11h in the morning, then it turns and blows from the Lago di Garda to the north.
We distinguish between three different winds:

• vento strozzaquiloni: the "kite strangler"

• vento matteaquiloni: the "kite crusher"

• vento mazzaquiloni: the "kite massacre"

the strozzaquiloni crashes your kite in ten minutes of flying with a propability of 61,4 %, the matteaqulioni with  83,9 % and the dreaded mazzaquiloni with 99,9 !!! %.
The average number of damaged kites was 1,7 a day- Sonja Graichen won the "most kites killed in shortest time" competition with the unbeatable result of three kites in 3h 15min.
